What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is quite simply the practice of intentionally regulating our breath with awareness. There are many different techniques and exercises to practice our breathing, but overall these practices help to regulate the nervous system, build emotional awareness and resilience, and help us more deeply access our present somatic states within. My breathwork sessions typically combine a variety of somatic practices and pranayama exercises leading up to a deeper, transformational breath experience that facilitates a surrender into the body, and transformational mind/body/emotional release.

What is a Transformational Breathwork Journey?

Transformational Breathwork helps us to deepen our inner connection, improve our physical vitality, elevate mental and emotional clarity, and awaken our spiritual connection. In this session, we will begin with a blend of somatic exercises and pranayama practices designed to warm up your breath and body and to harmonize our life force within. We will then enter into a guided process of transformational or ecstatic breathwork, a physical and emotional journey utilizing the breath or prana to enter deep healing states in the body and tap into heightened states of awareness. Through the rhythmic and invigorating journey of breathwork, you will learn to utilize your own best medicine for healing and awakening, and leave the session feeling clearer and connected to your inner wisdom in a whole new way.

Private Breathwork Session

Breathwork is a healing modality that uses simple controlled breath patterns to take you into a deep state of consciousness where emotional healing can be more easily accessed. It works by helping you bypass the conscious mind and move into the subtle body to access the deeper layers of emotion, while gently supporting the nervous system. It’s a faster way to move stuck energy and tap into a deeply intuitive state while remaining grounded in the body.

In a private breathwork session, we will start by speaking about your intentions for the session, and any particular areas you want to focus on or blockages you want to move. We will then begin the breathing session with a blend of somatic exercises and pranayama practices designed to warm up your breath and body and to harmonize your life force within. I will guide you into a guided physical and emotional journey utilizing the breath or prana to enter deep healing states in the body and tap into heightened states of awareness. Through the rhythmic and invigorating journey of breathwork, you will learn to utilize your own best medicine for healing and awakening, and leave the session feeling clearer and connected to your inner wisdom in a whole new way. We will close with a sharing and integration of the experience, and speak about tools and practices to support you moving forward.
